In the company’s largest endeavor, Miller is spearheading the development of Culver Centrale, a unique mixed-use residential and retail property located in the heart of Culver City, California.  The project will be home to 18 residences averaging approximately 1,800 square feet and 5,500 square feet of street level retail space, which is uniquely located below the exquisite residential living, “Culver Centrale draws from the best elements of classic design and interprets them in a modern way; nothing has been reinvented, only refined,” says Miller.  “It’s all about the light, warmth, simplicity, and above all, quality.”

The interiors are designed to be larger than an average Culver City single family home, “I wanted to create the general vision for the residences and filled them with the best finishes from Europe; cabinets and porcelain tiles from Italy, Eurostone countertops, Grohe fixtures, Duravit sinks, the best quality of Fleetwood doors and windows,” Miller explains.  “The amenities also include a yoga and cardio studio designed specifically for this project as well as an outdoor movie theater.”

Culver Centrale’s facade is as beautiful and architecturally significant as its interior. “Instead of using stucco, we chose two European finishes; Swiss Pearl from Switzerland and Parklex from Spain,” says Miller. “We believe the commercial portion of the building will serve as a great amenity for the residents and will also align with the walkable aesthetic of downtown Culver City.”

Located on the Southeast border of downtown, there are great restaurants, wine bars, cafes and theaters within walking distance of the development.  “In the past ten years, the downtown area has transformed from an industrial stretch to a place where you can have a glass of wine in a beautiful enoteca, eat at a nationally celebrated restaurant, attend an art gallery opening, and take in a live David Mamet play all in one night – without getting in your car,” says Miller.

Beyond all of the great options for dining, drinking, and entertainment, Culver City has all of the amenities of any great neighborhood: parks, banks, a post office, markets, gyms, boutiques and salons. In addition to the great amenities, Culver City is home to many significant employers. “There are over 4,000 excellent jobs within walking distance from Culver Centrale,” says Miller.  The development is in the final stages of construction and expected to be completed in November 2009.
