Houston’s New “Man-Cave” Kicks Off With Houston Texans Linebacker Zac Diles

Recently, Brick House Tavern + Tap (www.brickhousetavernandtap.com) hosted the Ultimate Bash in true man fashion with Houston Texans linebacker Zac Diles and Sports Radio 610.
At the bash, which celebrated the restaurant’s recent grand opening five weeks ago, guests were able to enjoy a variety of comfort foods, including the restaurant’s signature ”Doublewide Sloppy Joe” and “Zipped Up Deviled Eggs,” to complement an expansive list of 70 imported, domestic and local craft beers that can be served seven different ways.
A newcomer to the Houston restaurant scene, Brick House Tavern + Tap located at Highway 290 and Pinemont is a sports-centric concept featuring more than 20 high-def flat screens, 16 leather recliners with built-in cup holders and food trays, an outdoor fire pit surrounded by campfire seating, and a bar which opens to the large outdoor patio.
Modesto Alcala, the visionary/chief concept officer of Brick House Tavern + Tap, has spent more than 20 years in the restaurant industry. He has a wide range of culinary and hospitality experiences which include conceptualizing dining establishments for Carlson Restaurants Worldwide Inc. and launching the Timpano Italian Chophouse and Samba Room.
