Just like he made records on the NFL field, Brett Favre is doing the same thing on the high school field. Now in his second year coaching Oak Grove High, Favre is set to coach his team in the Mississippi state championship game against Tupelo this Friday in Jackson.
He told Web Pro News, “Who knows if I’ll do it next year,” said Favre, who is in his second year coaching at the high school. “I really don’t know. It’s been a lot of fun. I enjoy it. It’s easy and it’s not too time-consuming.”
Favre is loving coaching football. He only has one problem. “It’s cutting into my time in the woods,” Favre said with a grin. “But I’m not going to complain too much about that.”
