Seasons 52 at Millennium High Street in Houston to Open May 23

Seasons 52, the highly-acclaimed fresh grill and wine bar restaurant, has announced its first location in Houston at Millennium High Street, will officially open on Thursday, May 23, 2013. This will be the third location for Seasons 52 in Texas, following the success of the Plano location in the Shops at Legacy and the Dallas location at NorthPark Center.
Brian Foye, president, Seasons 52, has also announced key management positions for the Millennium High Street location including James Holets as the Executive Chef Partner, Reuben Rolf as the Managing Partner and Steven Pham as the AOR Field Sales Manager.
Chef Holets has worked in kitchens across the United States from Florida to Hawaii. He brings his extensive culinary knowledge with upmarket dining and impeccable food presentation to the Seasons 52 team in Houston.
“James is a highly versatile and accomplished chef with solid experience in upscale cuisine,” said Clifford Pleau, senior culinary director for Seasons 52. “His talent and expertise is a match for the Seasons 52 concept. James will be an incredible asset as we open our first restaurant in Houston.”
Prior to joining the Seasons 52 team, Chef Holets was the Chef de Cuisine at Buckhead Life Restaurant Group. During his three-year tenure, Holets helped open City Fish Market in Boca Raton, one of South Florida’s finest seafood restaurants. He has also worked as the Executive Chef for Merriman’s Market Café in Hawaii, where he created daily menu items with a focus on farm-raised products direct to table. Holets also spent nine years as Executive Chef with Landry’s Restaurants and opened Aquarium Restaurants in Downtown Houston, Nashville, and Denver.
Chef Holets will continue the Seasons 52 tradition of serving a menu with items containing just 475 calories or less, from its signature flatbreads and appetizers, to all entrees and its mini indulgence desserts. Seasons 52’s promise of “a fresh dining experience that celebrates living well” has been consistently praised by restaurant critics across the country and people’s choice awards alike.
Reuben Rolf joined the Seasons 52 team in 2012 as Managing Partner. With over 20 years in the restaurant industry, Rolf brings valuable experience as the Seasons 52 Managing Partner in Houston. His professional achievements have earned him a reputation for being a successful and productive manager.

Prior to joining the Seasons 52 team, Rolf served as the General Manager of The Palm Restaurant in Houston. He began his management career with Trevisio Restaurant in The Texas Medical Center, and later joined Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar in River Oaks. During his time there he served as Service Manager, Wine Manger and Operating Partner. As Operating Partner, Rolf was instrumental in the opening of Fleming’s in North Austin.
Rolf will lead the Seasons 52 team in Houston, where they will maintain the restaurant’s nationally recognized standard for its forward-thinking concept with proven consumer appeal. Focusing on assembling an ideal staff, Rolf will continue Seasons 52’s tradition of sustaining a team with impeccable attention to detail and flawless execution.
Steven Pham, a current Assistant Managing Partner for Seasons 52, will also take over the duties of Sales Manager for Houston. He joins the Houston team after working with Seasons 52 for the past 10 years. Starting in 2003 when the company opened its first restaurant and working his way up, Pham is more than familiar with the Seasons 52 brand. As a Certified Server Trainer, he was responsible for overseeing the rigorous training process for all servers. Later as a Manager, Pham handled employee schedule coordination in addition to managing the ordering and receiving of restaurant inventory.
While handling Sales Manager duties for Seasons 52 at Millennium High Street, Pham will spearhead all community and guest relations, private dining, and special events. Playing an important role in raising the profile of the company’s first Houston location, Pham will also oversee group reservations, as well as individual and corporate bookings for the two private dining rooms, Chef’s Table and patio.
