Gents Social Club Celebrates 50 Years

Houston, TX, November 4, 2014 - The Gents social club will celebrate 50 years of mentoring, commitment to higher education, and serving through their Golden Year Gala celebration to be held at the Sheraton Houston Brookhollow Hotel on December 12, 2014.
The Gents organization takes pride in being a positive influence in communities and schools as well as providing scholarships to young men all over the City of Houston. Several notable service projects are the Booker T. Washington Gents Angels Project, Houston Zoo’s Zoo Boo, Houston Children Festival, Reach Out to Drop Outs, and many campus beautification developments.
This will be a fun-filled occasion with great food, amusement, and most of all great purpose. Honorees of the evening will include some of Houston’s top leaders in politics, education, community activism and entrepreneurs such as Brian Allen, Kristi Johnson, Esther Bernard, Kelly Hodges and Tyrone Smith.
The red carpet will begin at 7 p.m. and the program will follow at 8 p.m. This event is open to the public and tickets to the Gala and additional information are available at www.gentsalumniinc.org.
