Hennessey Performance doesn’t need Ford to make another Raptor pickup: It has its own. The Texas tuner will continue to transform the standard F-150 into the fire-breathing, 600-hp VelociRaptor 600.
The new VelociRaptor 600 is based on the 2015 F-150 FX4 Super Crew with the 5.0-liter V8. Hennessey adds a supercharger, high-flow air-induction system, stainless-steel exhaust, upgraded fuel injectors and a proprietary engine management calibration.
“We’ve built over 400 VelociRaptor 600 Supercharged Ford trucks over the past four years,” said John Hennessey. “We are simply picking up where we left off with our 2015 VelociRaptor. Having Ford’s world-class new truck design, with a weight savings of nearly 700 pounds, our VelociRaptor 600 Supercharged will have an even greater level of performance.”
Only 500 VelociRaptor 600s will be produced for the 2015 model year, according to Hennessey, starting at $73,500, which includes the price of the base F-150.
The VelociRaptor rides on 33-inch tires wrapped around 17-inch wheels. Buyers can always order more performance or style -- Hennessey can install custom suspensions, upgraded bumpers, winches and more.
The VelociRaptor comes with a three-year, 36,000-mile warranty.
Interested buyers can order a VelociRaptor from any Ford dealership. Check out hennesseyperformance.com for more information.
