Children’s Book Author Jennifer Holm at the 5th Annual Books Alive! Children’s Book Celebration at the Houston Public Library

What: Children of all ages are invited to enjoy a day of fun and exciting activities at the Houston Public Library for the 5th Annual Books Alive! Children’s Book Celebration. A full day of exciting performances and hands-on arts and crafts activities, featuring a special appearance and book signing by award-winning children’s book author Jennifer Holm, best known for her Babymouse graphic novel series. The Children’s Book Celebration will also have a special performance by Main Street Theater who will present their original production, “Babymouse, the Musical.” The Children’s Book Celebration is free and open to the public. About Author Jennifer Holm
Holm’s is a “New York Times” bestselling children's author and the recipient of three Newbery Honors for her novels “Our Only May Amelia,” “Penny from Heaven,” and “Turtle in Paradise.” Jennifer collaborates with her brother, Matthew Holm, on two graphic novel series -- the popular Babymouse series and the bestselling Squish series.
