Texans rookie linebacker Jadeveon Clowney underwent arthroscopic knee surgery Monday, coach Bill O’Brien said.
Clowney is expected to miss four to six weeks while recovering from a meniscus tear.
O’Brien said game tape revealed that Clowney came down awkwardly. However, O’Brien said Clowney didn’t say anything about NRG Stadium’s grass.
O’Brien said he doesn’t have a problem with the field’s playing surface.
