HOUSTON (September 10, 2014) – Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital invites you to join an interactive discussion with UTHealth pediatric neurosurgeon Manish N. Shah, M.D. tomorrow, Thursday, September 11, at 12 p.m., to learn about the diagnosis of spastic cerebral palsy in children and the latest in treatment options available at Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital.

Dr. Shah, who is affiliated with Memorial Hermann Mischer Neuroscience Institute at the Texas Medical Center and Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, will discuss the signs and symptoms of spastic cerebral palsy, appropriate treatment options, selective dorsal rhizotomy, deep brain stimulation for childhood movement disorders like dystonia, what to expect if your child has surgery, and follow-up care. Dr. Shah will also answer questions submitted during the presentation.
