Well, pack your bags and head on over to Puerto Rico for this week's ninth edition of Saborea Puerto Rico: A Culinary Extravaganza returns to the Island at the world-famous Escambrón Beach in San Juan. Celebrations surrounding the crème de la crème in the Caribbean’s foodie scene will take place April 7-10, 2016. The Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC) and Puerto Rico Hotel and Tourism Association (PRHTA) are excited to welcome all interested in experiencing the unique culinary offerings of the All-Star Island.

"Puerto Rico Tourism Company is proud to support the most recent edition of Saborea Puerto Rico, a Culinary Extravaganza. This marvelous event has demonstrated consistent growth year after year, positioning Puerto Rico as a world-class culinary destination,” said PRTC Executive Director Ingrid I. Rivera Rocafort.

“Gastronomy is an essential part of tourism because it makes the destination both attractive and appetizing. Our chefs are the Island’s ambassadors; they showcase our gastronomy to the world and Saborea Puerto Rico is the time of the year when they do so all together in one place,” said PRHTA President and CEO Clarisa Jiménez. “Saborea Puerto Rico is synonymous with world-class cuisine and the moment during which we reaffirm that our Island is without a doubt the culinary capital of the Caribbean. During this year’s event, we will host four days full of entertainment and exquisite food for visitors and local residents.”

A few of the chefs featured in this year’s event include:
