Wayback Burgers, America’s hometown burger joint, serving delicious burgers made from 100-percent fresh ground beef, hand-dipped milkshakes, crispy and grilled chicken sandwiches, fresh salads, delicious sides and more, today announced its newest restaurant, located in the Walmart Supercenter at 1919 North Main Street in Pearland, is now open. The new restaurant is the first Wayback Burgers location owned and operated by local franchisee, Shahnaz Khoja, and it is the sixth store opened in the state of Texas – and first in the Houston metro area. Wayback Burgers of Pearland has added nearly 20 new jobs to the local economy.

Wayback Burgers offers fresh burgers, cooked to order, available as a single, classic double, triple and triple triple (nine) patty, and rich, thick milkshakes made the old-fashioned way by hand, using only fresh milk and hand-dipped ice cream, served in an environment that hearkens back to a simpler place and time – when “customer service” meant something and everyone felt the warmth of the community. Going “way” beyond the burger, Wayback Burgers offers crispy and grilled chicken sandwiches, veggie burgers, turkey burgers, fresh salads and delicious sides, including fries, onion rings, home-style chili and House-Made Chips.

“We are thrilled to announce the opening of our Wayback Burgers restaurant in Pearland,” said Shahnaz Khoja, local franchisee. “Being located in the Walmart Supercenter offers a convenient location for guests looking for great food on-the-go, and we look forward to delivering excellent service and top notch burgers, fries, shakes and more in the Pearland area and beyond.”

“We are pleased to announce the continued expansion of the Wayback Burgers brand in Texas with the opening of our Pearland restaurant,” said John Eucalitto, president of Wayback Burgers. “With steady debt-free growth, operations in 26 states and new locations opening at a rate of two per month, it’s an exciting time to be a part of the Wayback Burgers brand, and we wouldn’t be able to achieve this level of success without great franchise partners like Shahnaz and his team.”

The new Wayback Burgers of Pearland encompasses a 2,000 square-foot design, featuring a warm red barn board interior with white and stainless steel accents, modeled after the great American roadside burger joint.
