Your favorite Colombian has added yet another achievement to her growing resume. Shakira received a humanitarian award at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The singer graciously accepted the Crystal Award from Chairperson of the Schwab Foundation Hilde Schwab. Shakira took the stage, where she used her short speech time to shed light on the issue of education for children. The 39-year-old is no stranger to philanthropic efforts. In December of 2016, she opened a school in Colombia. Thus far, more than 10,000 children and 67,000 young adults have benefited from Shakira's efforts through the school.
