CoolxDad’s Color Box donation drive is returning for its fifth year, bringing together fathers, families, and local businesses for a month-long celebration of giving across Houston. Running from November 1 through November 30, 2025, residents can drop off new toys, clothing, and electronics at six community-focused spaces: Argyle League, Tadaima, Tomi Jewelry, DOSHI House, Sneaks, and Ellio Fine Art.
This year, all donations will benefit Cullen Middle School, providing students and families with gifts and essential items to brighten the holiday season. The initiative combines the creativity of Houston’s local businesses with the generosity of residents, transforming everyday spaces into hubs of hope for children in need.
The drive culminates on Thanksgiving morning, November 27, 2025, at 7:00 a.m., when Color Box partners with Saint Arnold Brewing Company’s Turkey Day 5K. The event offers participants the chance to blend fitness and philanthropy in a citywide moment of unity, contributing to the holiday spirit while supporting the community.
Color Box has become a Houston holiday tradition, mobilizing residents, local businesses, and community leaders to collect gifts and essentials for underserved children and families. The initiative is part of CoolxDad’s broader programming, which includes free holiday portrait sessions, seasonal dinners, and mentorship programs that strengthen family leadership and community engagement.
Cullen Middle School, located in Houston’s historic Third Ward, serves as the program’s beneficiary, providing students with academic and creative opportunities while fostering a strong sense of community. The Saint Arnold Thanksgiving Turkey Trot, a Houston tradition, complements the donation drive by combining family, fitness, and philanthropy to support local initiatives like Color Box.
Through partnerships with local businesses, nonprofits, and community members, Color Box exemplifies the power of collective action and holiday generosity in Houston, ensuring families in need experience a brighter season.
