44th Annual Jazz & Poetry Black History Celebration

Jazz & Poetry, Houston’s premier Educational Outreach Program dedicated to introducing and inspiring school aged youth through poetry and Jazz performances- celebrating Black History Month, will close out its 44th season at Parker Elementary school this Wednesday, February 22. The 45-minute performance is scheduled to begin at 8:15 A.M. and will delight hundreds of students. The teachers and staff have also been seen rocking and clapping along with the students as they take in the live performance all the Jazz & Poetry Ensemble brings to elementary schools.
