Houstonian to Crown Successor at Miss Black America Coed Pageant

Black All-American Pageant Systems, Inc. announces the 2018 Miss Black America Coed Pageant on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 3:00pm CST at the Granville Arts Center. The 2018 Miss Black America Coed Competition will allow contestants to showcase their intelligence, love of self, and poise on the national stage while representing their community as they compete for the coveted title of Miss Black America Coed 2018. Roneshia Ray, the reigning Miss Black America Coed and Jayda Dodd, Miss Black American Princess will be special VIP guests.
Over the course of Labor Day Weekend (September 1-3, 2017), contestants from across the country will be engrossed in a number of activities leading up to the final night of competition. As they compete in the traditional areas of pageantry including fitness, evening gown, talent, private interview and question & answer, contestants will show their best self for a panel of distinguished judges.
Newly crowned winners will receive a prize package with a scholarship up to $1,500 and other gifts. Miss Black America Coed 2018 will embark a yearlong full of speaking engagements, community service activities, and other special events. She will serve as a mentor for the Miss Black America Coed signature service program, Charm School. The national mentoring program is one that is adopted by all local, state, and national queens of Miss Black America Coed where the queens mentor young ladies by hosting workshops that include but are not limited to the areas of self-love, self-confidence, skincare, vision boarding, proper attire, and poise.
Tickets are currently on sale for the 2018 Miss Black America Coed Pageant. Family and friends are also asked to show their support for their favorite contestants in the People’s Choice Competition where they contribute a $1 per vote per contestant. Money collected will go toward the Miss Black America Coed Scholarship Fund. All tickets and contributions can be made online at www.MissBlackAmericaCoed.org.
