Judge has Broner jailed after pleading guilty today.
Adrien Broner has reportedly been sentenced to three days in jail for contempt of court after pleading guilty today to a misdemeanor charge stemming from an incident in 2014.
Broner, 27, was arrested on April 20th in Kentucky on a warrant from a failure to appear in court for a 2014 disorderly conduct case. While being arrested Broner told cops that a vehicle he was driving had been shot at earlier that night.
He told TMZ after the shooting,
"They try to kill me because they jealous of my success. Every fake killer or every killer wants a celebrity on their list. I was once them before. The higher the celebrity you've got on your list, that's how people respect you."
According to Fox19, he appeared in court today and pled guilty to the disorderly conduct charge, which is when the judge charged him with contempt and sentenced him to three days in jail. He'll start serving his time immediately.
