RNC Announces Charlotte as Host City for 2020 Convention

WASHINGTON — Today, the Republican National Committee (RNC) officially selected Charlotte, North Carolina as host of the 2020 Republican National Convention. RNC committee members voted unanimously to select Charlotte as the 2020 host city.
Following today’s vote, RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel, Site Selection Chairman Ron Kaufman, Campaign Manager for Donald J. Trump for President Brad Parscale, and Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority CEO Tom Murray issued the following:
RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel:
"I am thrilled to announce Charlotte as the official host city for the 2020 Republican National Convention. We look forward to seeing the Queen City take center stage as the Republican Party re-nominates President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence to continue fighting for the American people."
