At last there is a name and premiere date for Bravo’s upcoming reality TV show set in San Antonio. Raise your margaritas to “Texicanas,” the new docuseries that kicks off at 9 p.m. May 7. Long rumored to be another “Real Housewives” spinoff, “Texicanas” instead chronicles its lavish ladies’ melodramas through the eyes of Penny Ayarzagoitia, a self-described free spirit who runs a San Antonio real estate company with a husband by her side, their two sons at home and a stripper pole in her living room. According to Bravo, “Texicanas” follows Ayarzagoitia and her sophisticated gal pals through la vida loca — and rica — in the Alamo City as they juggle family and fun. Most of the women grew up in Mexico before making San Antonio home.
