Delta Sigma Theta, Harris County DA’s Office Host #NotMeToo Seminar

HOUSTON - The Bay Area Houston Alumnae (BAHA) Chapter of Delta Sigma Sorority, Inc., in partnership with the Harris County District Attorney Office Sex Crimes Division presents: #Not ME TOO, A Conversation Between Sisters, Women, and Friends!
The event will be from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, at the University of Houston Clear Lake –Pearland Campus, 1200 Pearland Parkway, RM 179 | Pearland, Texas 77581.
BAHA’s Social Action Committee conducts outreach seminars centered around or focused on social or political issues facing the nation. The chapter’s service area encompasses Clear Lake, Friendswood, Pasadena, Pearland, Seabrook and Webster. The#MeToomovement has raised numerous issues that have been ignored or minimized for years. Therefore, in an effort to bring awareness to this issue, the sorority chapter will host this seminar.
The event is free and open to the public!
Delta Sigma Theta, an international public service sorority with more than 150,000 members, was founded in 1913 on the campus of Howard University in Washington, D.C. The BAHA chapter, one of five chapters in the greater Houston metropolitan area, was chartered in 2005 and boasts a membership of over 170 college-educated women who are committed to sharing a common bond of sisterhood, scholarship and service.
