Lake Charles Symphony to host fundraiser May 5

LAKE CHARLES, La. (April 25, 2019) — Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with the Lake Charles Symphony for their inaugural Bingo de Mayo fundraiser on Sunday, May 5, at the Cash and Carry Building, 801 Enterprise, from 3 – 5 p.m.
The event will kick off with the sounds of the Barbe High School Buccaneer String Orchestra, followed by an afternoon filled with bingo games, tasty chips and salsa from Casa Manana, and of course, margaritas – all for a great cause. A cash bar will also be available. Prizes donated by local businesses will be awarded to the winner of each of the games, including a special prize for the Blackout Game. Door prizes will also be given away.
Proceeds from Bingo de Mayo are used for the symphony’s educational and outreach programs, in which free Symphony concert tickets are provided to students K-12, concentrating on at-risk schools.
Tickets are $50 a person, $225 for a half table of five, or $450 for a reserved table of ten. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door. Each ticket includes one bingo card, one drink ticket, and snacks. Additional bingo cards will be available for purchase.
