Latin Grammy Award-nominated singer/songwriter De La Ghetto is excited to announce the release of a special new project called “New Calle” with a brand new song and an accompanying music video.

New Calle looks to empower local emerging Latin urban music artists through a once-in-a-lifetime collaboration featuring one of today’s most sought-after Latin urban artists. The critically-acclaimed reggaeton powerhouse not only helped to compose the new song, but he also invited up-and-coming artists from across the country to help give a voice to the growing Latin urban music scene.

"I'm very happy to be able to join Remezcla and Jack Daniel's for this opportunity, which allows new artists to have a platform and get their music heard and on the radar,” said De La Ghetto. “It is always fun for me to collaborate with promising new talent, the experience took me back to when I first started and it’s great to see everything that new talent is delivering nowadays.”

After a fierce competition online featuring emerging Latino artists from cities including Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, New York City, and Miami, voters from across the country also selected Doeman Dyna to join De La Ghetto in the creation of the anthem.

A rising Mexican-American emcee who hails from Houston, Texas, Doeman not only helped to co-write the new song, but the rising hip-hop artist was later joined by De La Ghetto for the filming of a new music video in the streets of his own hometown.

The new song is available for streaming now on Spotify and iTunes, although the companion visual is also available to view online through YouTube as well as remezcla.com/jdnewcalle.
