2021 Tamale Festival Houston has been rescheduled and will now take place on Saturday, December 18 from 11AM-6PM at East River.

Celebrate Houston’s diverse culture at the 10th Annual Tamale Festival Houston! An East End Houston tradition since 2011, the 2021 Tamale Festival returns this year in a new location: Midway’s future mixed-use development, East River. The family-friendly event will be bigger and better than ever, featuring a plethora of homemade tamales from East End vendors and other local kitchens, art displays, craft booths selling holiday merchandise, live musical performances, kid’s activities and more! Complimentary tickets are available at the Harris County General Store Barbecue Co. and select local retailers, while supplies last.

The event is Saturday, December 18 from 11 AM – 6 PM on the East River, 100 Bayou Street, Houston, TX 77020. Tickets start at $10, Kids under 12 are admitted free with an adult.
