Most computer repair specialists will ask you a fundamental question when you tell them that your computer has issues while working on it.
“Have you rebooted your system?”
One method of restarting your computer is by pushing the Control+Alt+Delete buttons at the same time. That combination is what a user can press all at the same time to terminate an application or reboot the operating system.
On Sunday, the Houston Texans will look to reboot their offense by starting rookie quarterback Davis Mills who was named the starter for the rest of the season by head coach David Culley. He will replace Tyrod Taylor, who injured his left wrist in the third quarter of the Indianapolis Colts game.
“It’s a challenge each and every week going forward, but the goal stays the same for the whole team, just going 1-0 every week,” Mills said during his weekly press conference.
In their last three games, Houston’s offense has been putrid, averaging less than 200 total yards and a meager 12 points per game. Those numbers have frustrated Texans offensive coordinator Tim Kelly as he tries to figure out a way for the game plan to produce points and sustain drives.
“As we continue to look at this, continue to look at the run game and continue to figure out different ways to try and get that going,” Kelly elaborated when asked about the offensive deficiency. “Doing a better job of scheming up different runs and just continuing to make sure that everyone’s on the same page, as far as what the intent of certain plays are and what we’re trying to get out of certain things, and again, when we’re on the field, to make sure that they’re prepared as possible.”
Mills, who the Texans drafted with their first pick in the third round of the 2021 NFL Draft, hopes to have more success his second time around as a starter than he did his previous six games. In those games, he passed for 1,357 yards and seven touchdowns, but his poor decision-making led to eight interceptions.
“A lot of it’s just the knowledge of the offense that I’m running, knowledge of the playbook, and then chemistry with the guys that I have around me,” said Mills when asked about what he has learned watching from the sidelines. “It’s a lot easier going out there and being able to anticipate, so I guess anticipation would be one of those things. Just knowing where people are going to be.”
