Hyatt Regency Houston/Galleria, located in the heart of uptown Houston, announces its restaurant, Urban Star, has begun renovation and will reopen this summer. Located next to the Galleria, the largest mall in Texas with all major luxury brands, Urban Star will be an upbeat, vibrant and contemporary urban atmosphere for anyone seeking an elevated, yet comfortable cocktail and dining experience. The restaurant will perfectly pair sophistication and southern hospitality.

Elevated Dining

The new Urban Star will present contemporary interpretations of classic Southern meals, highlighting a “Ranch to Table” philosophy. Menus will feature ingredients sourced from Texas partners including Rosewood Ranch (Texas Wagyu beef), Brazos Valley Cheese, and The Mozzarella Company. All foods will be responsibly farmed and raised, organic, cage free and socially responsible. Regional authenticity is a priority, as all meat will be from Texas and seafood from the nearby Gulf of Mexico.

The Cocktail Destination

The bar will be center-staged, and offers a variety of crafted American cocktails and local drafts. As guests enjoy the timeless and connected atmosphere, they can order a cocktail or beverage sourced from a variety of local Texas brands including Karbach Brewery, Rebecca Creek Whiskey, La Dulce Vita Tequila and Waterloo Gin. The expertly crafted Ranch Waters and Micheladas put the “star” in Urban Star, offering bold and crisp flavors.
