Women in Film & Television Austin annual fundraiser taking place this Friday, April 14; tickets on sale now

Women in Film & Television Austin, a nonprofit organization that advocates for and empowers women in the media industry, is proud to announce its annual fundraiser event, which will be held this Friday, April 14, 2023 from 6 - 9 p.m. The event will help raise money to support the organization's mission to support and empower members through professional educational programming, networking events, development opportunities, creative collaborations and mentoring. The fundraiser will be held at Vuka North Lamar in north Austin and is open to the public. Tickets can be purchased here ($50 for members and $60 for non-members) and include light bites and cocktails. All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting Women in Film & Television Austin’s mission to support and empower women in the film and television industry. The fundraiser will feature live music by Fragile Rock, an acoustic performance by Austin's own Kaylin Karr, a silent auction and a raffle. Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on a variety of exciting items, including exclusive experiences, memberships, and more. In addition, guests will experience various aspects of the Austin film industry including a choreographed fight scene demonstration, a podcast recording station to record an introduction for the WIFT Austin Podcast along with other fun surprises.
