Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. joins with the four other National Pan-Hellenic Council fraternities for the historic, second annual NPHC Fraternity Days on Capitol Hill, which includes panel discussions and meetings with Congressional members and other officials, June 4-6. In addition, a National Pan-Hellenic Council’s Council of Presidents Town Hall will be convened, featuring all nine presidents from its fraternities and sororities (Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.) who will serve as panelists in a pivotal conversation about gun safety, economic empowerment, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and women’s reproductive rights on Monday, June 5 at 2PM EST. The town hall will also be live streamed.

NPHC Fraternity Days on Capitol Hill is a joint Capitol Hill advocacy effort, including the five NPHC Fraternities with panel discussions and meetings with Congressional members and other officials.

The event is June 4-6, 2023, at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill, 400 New Jersey Avenue, Washington, D.C.

Representatives and International leadership from all five NPHC Fraternities, including Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., and Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc.; Members of Congress, specifically Rep. Steven Horsford, 4th District, Nevada, and Chairman of the Congressional Black Caucus; Assistant U.S. Attorney General Kristen Clark, U.S. Department of Justice; Damon Hewitt, President/Executive Director, Lawyer’s Committee for Civil Rights.
