Third Ward on Tap-Trill Edition, the Houston Housing Authority (HHA), the City of Houston, Friends of Columbia Tap, and the Rotary Houston Skyline are coming together this Saturday, March 11th to celebrate the neighborhoods revitalization and to reclaim outdoor space within the Third Ward Community. A press conference at 10:15a.m. will kick-off the event as Community leaders discuss future plans and the importance of investing in our communities.

This event is one of the many We Rise for Our Future (WRFOF) projects that the HHA and its Community Neighborhood Initiative (CNI) have planned for this year. All intended to reunite the community and encourage healthy outdoor activities using trails and outdoor space within Cuney Homes and the Third Ward.

The event is Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 10am-2pm at Cuney Homes 3260 Truxillo St, Houston, TX 77004.

Third Ward on Tap: Trill Edition is hosting a community revitalization event to reclaim the Columbia Tap Trail and Truxillo St. Community Space.

○ Council Member Dr. Carolyn Evans-Shabazz (District D)

○ HHA Leadership

Event to follow with a block party, live music, food truck, bike giveaways, bike contests, games, prizes, and a whole lot of fun!
