On February 23, Tampa native and rising hip-hop sensation Zauntee unleashed his full-length album, "We Already Won," radiating with a powerful message of hope and determination. With tracks like "The City is Mine," Zauntee aims to ignite a fire within listeners from the very first beat, evoking the spirit of resilience akin to the iconic Rocky movie.
Reflecting on his music, Zauntee shares, “It’s about running up the steps. It’s about never giving up. It’s hungry. There's a fire to it.” His album, released under BEC Recordings, features 20 tracks pulsating with his trademark intensity and lyrics that transcend spiritual and cultural boundaries.
At the heart of Zauntee's message lies his viral hit "Hard Work GOD First," a mantra he lives by every day. With lines like “We walked through the hell that nobody leaves,” Zauntee's lyrics exude a relentless drive and unwavering faith that resonates deeply with audiences.
Raised in a large family, Zauntee's journey with GOD began in high school, fueling his passion to create anthems for those who see themselves as underdogs, regardless of their religious beliefs. He explains, “I make music people want with a message they need.” Through his bold and unapologetic approach, Zauntee strives to reach individuals who may not typically engage with Christian music.
For Zauntee, it's not just about creating catchy tunes; it's about offering a lifeline of hope and inspiration to a generation in need. “It’s possible to win and to do it for GOD,” he asserts. “If I can leave you with one message, it’s ‘just pick the light.’ Because if you do that, everything else falls into place.”
At just 23 years old, Zauntee has already garnered acclaim, receiving a Dove Award Nomination for Rap/Hip-Hop Album of the Year in 2021. He's performed on major tours and headlined sold-out concerts, driven by his mission to advance the Gospel of JESUS Christ through his music and ministry.
His ultimate goal? To create a community where individuals find belonging and purpose, knowing that they too can make a difference. “I want to be proof that GOD can use ANYONE to change the world,” Zauntee declares.
