STEM Global Action Partners with the American Association of Blacks in Energy - Houston Chapter to Host STEM Saturday: The Power of Wind Students

STEM Global Action is hosting a free STEM Saturday on April 6, 2024, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, at Fifth Ward Multi-Service Center, 4014 Market Street, Houston, TX 77020. This event is FREE and open to the public. This event is sponsored by the American Association of Black Engineers - Houston Chapter.
K-12 students will learn about harnessing the power of wind! Students will be able to measure wind and use its power to create energy. All participants will build and test their own wind turbine.
All materials will be provided upon arrival. This event is an opportunity for students to innovate, create and make with STEM professionals.
Since its founding in 2013, STEM NOLA, STEM Global Action’s flagship affiliate, has engaged more than 155,000 students, 22,000 families and 5,000 schools.
