Fort Bend County is set to receive significant financial support aimed at enhancing its flood resilience and community safety. County Judge KP George will officially announce the awarding of Regional Mitigation Funds from the Texas General Land Office (GLO) during a press conference today at 10:00 a.m. The event will be held at the Fort Bend County Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, located at 307 Fort St., Richmond, TX 77469.
Fort Bend County Secures Community Development Block Grant Mitigation Funding
Fort Bend County has been deemed eligible for Community Development Block Grant Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) funding, a testament to the county's proactive approach to disaster preparedness and resilience. - Levee Improvement District #10 Erosion Repair: Essential repairs to safeguard the integrity of the levee system.

- Steep Bank Creek Erosion Repair: Addressing erosion issues to prevent further degradation and protect nearby properties.
