Hear ye, hear ye! You’re invited to receive the royal treatment as Children’s Museum Houston celebrates its consecutive Good Housekeeping 2024 Best Family Travel Award win. The Museum is the only museum featured in Good Housekeeping’s coveted list as a “Can’t Miss Children’s Museum” under the Unforgettable Adventures and Attractions category. Come join us as we live a fairy tale victory complete with crown-making, princesses, ponies and snow!

SPECIAL EVENTS:

Ponies: Come for a truly enchanting, magical encounter with these alluring creatures.

Event Time: From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Concrete Jungle.

Princesses: Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Rapunzel, and Tiana will grace us with their presence and stories.

Event Time: From 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Alcove. *Story times in Brown Auditorium; check website.

Crown-Making: Make a crowning achievement to celebrate our triumphant day.

Event Time: From 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. in Alexander Art Academy.

Play in Snow: Our courtyard has been magically transformed into a winter wonderland.

Event Time: All day in Allen Family Courtyard; included with admission.

The venerated publication enlisted the help of more than 100 travelers to try out services while visiting attractions and destinations all over the U.S. and select standout winners. They determined Children’s Museum Houston is “one of the few children’s museums with appeal for toddlers to middle-schoolers… [where] everything was interactive and held [kids’] attention for a while.
