FEMA Announces Federal Disaster Assistance for Texas After Hurricane Beryl

FEMA has declared federal disaster assistance available for Texas following Hurricane Beryl's impact from July 5-9, 2024. The assistance will support recovery efforts in multiple counties, including debris removal, emergency work, and hazard mitigation measures on a cost-sharing basis for eligible entities.
Benjamin Abbott has been appointed Federal Coordinating Officer to oversee federal recovery operations in the affected regions. Further designations may follow based on ongoing assessments and state requests.
