Dear Houston Community,
In these challenging times of extreme heat, the Houston Housing Authority (HHA) is stepping up to ensure the health and safety of our residents. With many still without power following recent storms, we are pleased to announce the availability of cooling stations at our community resource and supply giveaway event today.
Cooling Stations to Combat Extreme Heat
The cooling stations are essential for community members seeking relief from the soaring temperatures. These stations will be operational at the Houston Housing Authority's main office located at 2640 Fountain View Drive, Houston, TX 77057, until the close of business at 5 PM. We believe that this critical service will provide much-needed respite and help prevent heat-related illnesses during this period of extreme weather.
Additional Resources for the Community
In addition to cooling stations, the event will feature utility assistance and food distribution locations to support our residents further. This comprehensive approach aims to address the immediate needs of our community and ensure everyone has access to essential services during this difficult time.
