The Junior League of Houston, Inc. is proud to announce the selection of its new Executive Committee for the 2024-2025 League year. Starting their term on June 1, 2024, this dedicated team of women will lead the organization through a landmark year, culminating in the celebration of the Junior League’s 2025 Centennial, including a major renovation of its historic building.

Commitment to "Building A Better Community"

Under the banner of “Building A Better Community,” the 2024-2025 Executive Committee is poised to further the Junior League's mission through tireless community service and leadership. This year, the League will contribute approximately $2 million in volunteer time and direct financial support to the Houston community, supporting 31 community projects with trained volunteers and essential funding.

Outgoing President Amanda Hanks Bayles reflects on her tenure with pride: “It has been an honor to serve as the 100th President of the Junior League of Houston. I am incredibly grateful to all the League’s members who continue to further our mission of developing the potential of women while making a significant impact in the Houston community. I eagerly anticipate the incoming leadership’s accomplishments as they initiate our Centennial Anniversary celebration.”

Looking Ahead to the Centennial

Incoming President Mary Lee Wilkens shares her enthusiasm: “I am excited and ready to step into the position of the Junior League of Houston’s 101st President this year. As we honor the amazing legacy of the Junior League and its members, we also look forward to an incredible future filled with growth and community impact.”
