Championing Education at the Greater Houston Partnership Luncheon:
Board of Trustees First Vice President Amy Hinojosa, alongside EFHC Director Trina Silva and HCDE Chief of Staff Danielle Bartz, led a delegation of HCDE and community leaders at the Greater Houston Partnership State of Education Luncheon on May 9th. Dr. Rodney E. Watson, Region 4 Executive Director, delivered a compelling keynote, offering insights into the state of education in the Houston region.
Swinging for Success at the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation Golf Classic:
Meanwhile, #TeamHCDE showcased their golfing prowess at the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation B.F. Adam Golf Classic at BlackHorse Golf Club. Superintendent James Colbert, Jr., Assistant Superintendent Jonathan Parker, and Assistant Superintendent Dr. CJ Rodgers represented HCDE with aplomb, underscoring the organization's commitment to supporting educational initiatives.
Investing in STEM Education at Hidden Hollow Elementary:
On May 10th, Trina Silva joined representatives from the Humble Independent School District Education Foundation at Hidden Hollow Elementary School to award a $10,000 Partners in Education Grant to Humble ISD for a STEM for All Camp. This grant, approved by the EFHC Board of Trustees in April, signifies EFHC's dedication to fostering innovation and excellence in STEM education.
