Barktoberfest 2024, presented by Pacifico, is set to take place on Saturday, October 12th, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Powder Keg, located at 1300 Brittmoore Road in Houston. This free, dog-friendly event will benefit Houston Pets Alive! and support their mission to save at-risk cats and dogs.

Attendees can enjoy a range of activities, including a dog costume contest, a bounce house for children, 9-hole mini golf, custom pup portraits by a sketch artist, spooky snacks, and Halloween-themed merchandise and dog toys. A vendor village will feature both pet-related and non-pet-related booths. Guests can also purchase beer tickets, which include a commemorative Pacifico beer glass and a pour of Pacifico.

Houston Pets Alive! has announced that Kevin Quinn from 104.1 KRBE will emcee the event, with celebrity judges for the dog costume contest, including KHOU news anchor Stephanie Simmons, 95.7 The Spot's Grego, Ryan Chase from the Roula and Ryan Show, and Instagram dog influencer Baloo the Bunny Eared Bully.

All proceeds from the event will go toward supporting Houston Pets Alive! in their efforts to increase live outcomes for animals, educate the community, and provide resources for local shelters and rescues.
