Houston gardeners, get ready for one of the most anticipated green events of the season! The Houston Arboretum & Nature Center is hosting its annual Fall Plant Sale on Friday and Saturday, October 11th – 12th. With the perfect lineup of Texas native plants, this is your chance to transform your garden while contributing to local conservation and education efforts.

Attract Pollinators, Conserve Water, and Beautify Your Space

Fall is the ideal time for gardening in Houston, and the Arboretum’s plant sale offers a variety of native wildflowers, shrubs, and trees that are not only beautiful but beneficial. Native plants like American Beautyberry, Rattlesnake Master, Prairie Blazingstar, Green Milkweed, and Texas Lantana are particularly suited to attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators to your yard. These plants will help create a thriving ecosystem, conserve water, and reduce the need for fertilizers and pesticides—keeping your garden lush and eco-friendly.

Whether you’re looking to save money on lawn maintenance or do your part in protecting the environment, this plant sale is a win-win for you and Houston’s wildlife.
