Alora Restaurant Opens in Montrose, Offering Peruvian-Vietnamese Fusion Cuisine

Alora, Houston's newest Peruvian-Vietnamese fusion restaurant, is set to host its grand opening on Wednesday, Jan. 29, 2025, starting at 4 p.m. Located at 2502 Dunlavy Street, Suite B, in the heart of Montrose, Alora promises to bring a unique blend of bold flavors and culinary artistry to Houston’s diverse dining scene.

Coinciding with Lunar New Year, the grand opening will feature a festive celebration complete with complimentary champagne, a special signature cocktail debut, and an exclusive three-course chef’s tasting menu priced at $115 per person, with an optional wine pairing. The tasting menu highlights Alora’s inventive approach, combining traditional Vietnamese and Peruvian flavors.

The restaurant’s full menu will also be available, showcasing standout dishes such as the PeruViet Ceviche, Ca Ri Shrimp, and Octopus Anticucho. Guests can also enjoy creative signature cocktails like the Pho-quila and Smoked Old Fashioned.

With an intimate yet upscale atmosphere and seating for 80, including a pet-friendly patio, Alora aims to offer a unique dining experience. The restaurant will operate daily, with hours varying by day, starting Jan. 29.
