The vibrant and iconic Bayou City Art Festival is set to make its grand return to Downtown Houston on Saturday, March 29, and Sunday, March 30, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. This beloved event, produced by Art Colony Association, Inc. (ACA), will not only celebrate creativity but also give back to the community by partnering with six local nonprofits, ensuring art and philanthropy walk hand in hand.

This year’s nonprofit beneficiaries include:

  • ARTReach
  • Grupo de Teatro Indigo
  • Pink Bows Foundation
  • The Health Museum
  • The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston
  • The Women’s Fund for Health Education and Resiliency

Each nonprofit will receive a portion of the festival's proceeds, provide volunteers, and host engaging art or craft stations in the festival’s Active Imagination Zone.

A Celebration of Art and Culture

Taking over Sam Houston Park along Allen Parkway, the Bayou City Art Festival transforms the city’s skyline into the perfect backdrop for an outdoor gallery showcasing over 300 artists from across the country. Art lovers will have the chance to explore one-of-a-kind paintings, sculptures, jewelry, photography, functional art, and more, all available for purchase.

This year’s featured artist, Gwendolyn Redfern from Raleigh, NC, will present her captivating works, setting the tone for a weekend filled with inspiration.

Entertainment, Culinary Delights, and VIP Experiences

Beyond art, the festival offers live entertainment on multiple stages, a food truck park, and the much-anticipated Chef’s Culinary Arts Stage, where local chefs will share their culinary expertise through tastings and demos. Attendees can sip and savor their way through the wine and craft beer garden, all while enjoying breathtaking views of Houston’s skyline.

For those seeking an elevated experience, the VIP Hospitality Lounge provides exclusive perks, including complimentary light bites, wine, beer, and refreshments, all set under a canopy of trees. VIPs will also enjoy live music, artistic décor, and dedicated parking for a truly luxurious festival experience.

Additionally, the festival will showcase the top 30 finalists from the Middle School Art Competition, spotlighting Houston’s young and emerging talent.
