PlazAmericas Hosts Free ‘San Valentín’ Celebration

PlazAmericas invites Houston residents to celebrate Valentine’s Day with free music, dance, comedy, contests, and more on February 9, 2025.

PlazAmericas is inviting the Houston community to celebrate ‘San Valentín’ (Valentine's Day) on Sunday, February 9, 2025, with an afternoon full of free entertainment and festivities. From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., the shopping center will host a vibrant celebration featuring traditional Mexican music, dance, and comedy, welcoming all ages to join the fun.

The event will highlight a series of cultural performances, beginning with Mariachi Perla Tapatía, whose festive tunes will fill the air with the sounds of traditional Mexican mariachi music. Guests will also enjoy the lively and colorful dance of Chinelos Morelenses, a traditional Mexican dance from the state of Morelos, known for its energetic performances by costumed dancers. Additionally, a folklórico dance performance will offer an authentic showcase of Mexico's traditional folk dances.

Adding to the celebration, The Milto Show will provide a comedic set to keep attendees entertained with laughs. Throughout the event, visitors can participate in giveaways and contests, adding to the excitement of the day.
