Hobby Center Announces Single-Ticket Sales for 2026-2027 Concert Series

Houston audiences will have a new season of Broadway stars, jazz artists, world music and Houston-rooted performances to choose from when single tickets for the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts’ 2026-2027 Beyond Broadway, Houston Is Inspired and Live at the Founders Club series go on sale Monday, Aug. 24, at 10 a.m.
Tickets will be available at The Hobby Center.
Now entering its fourth season, Beyond Broadway features intimate concert performances from some of Broadway’s biggest names. The 2026-2027 lineup includes Tituss Burgess in Concert on Oct. 24 and 25, 2026; An Evening with Audra McDonald on Jan. 16, 2027; and Broadway, My Way with Norbert Leo Butz on March 20, 2027, with an added matinee.
The Houston Is Inspired series continues the Hobby Center’s focus on performances connected to Houston’s culture, history and creative community. Houston jazz artist Jalen Baker opens the season with RePaved on Dec. 4, 2026, in Zilkha Hall. The series continues with Musiqa: Looking Back, Looking Forward on March 19, 2027, and Harrison Guy featuring Urban Souls Dance Company: Gentrified: Where Have All the Porches Gone? on April 24, 2027.
The series reflects the Hobby Center’s ongoing investment in local artists and Houston’s arts ecosystem, while giving audiences opportunities to discover performances rooted in the city’s creative spirit.
Live at the Founders Club returns with an intimate live music experience featuring jazz, world music and the Broadway Songbook. The 2026-2027 season also introduces its first group of Signature Artists, recognizing influential performers whose work has made a lasting impact in their fields.
The inaugural Signature Artists are actress, singer, comedian and Saturday Night Live alum Ana Gasteyer; Grammy-nominated Brazilian musical artist Bebel Gilberto; and acclaimed jazz pianist, composer and MacArthur fellow Jason Moran.
The full Live at the Founders Club lineup includes Orfeh's Off the Record with Steven Jamail on Sept. 10 and 11; An Evening with Ana Gasteyer on Oct. 1 and 2; Leo Sandoval and the Jazz Houston Allstars, presented by the Hobby Center and Jazz Houston, on Oct. 8 and 9; Surrender: The Timeless Experience of the Music of India with Falu and Her Band on Oct. 29 and 30; The Devil I Knew with Nicole Zuraitis on Nov. 5 and 6; and Evolution: Bringing Hot Gypsy Jazz into the 21st Century with Django Festival Allstars on Nov. 18 and 19.
The 2027 schedule continues with Bebel Gilberto: Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Tanto Tempo on Jan. 16 and 17; I’ve Gotta Be Me: A Tribute to Sammy Davis Jr. with Sidney DuPont on Jan. 28 and 29; Bria Skonberg on Feb. 18 and 19; Reencuentros with Cecilia Duarte on March 4 and 5; New York State of Mind with Ben Chavez on March 25 and 26; and Jason Moran Performs the Music of Duke Ellington: My Heart Sings on April 22 and 23.
Single tickets for all three series go on sale Monday, Aug. 24, at 10 a.m. at The Hobby Center.
