State Rep. James Talarico’s campaign for the U.S. Senate will air a new television ad during Super Bowl LX in the Houston media market. The 30-second spot, titled “Billionaires,” focuses on Talarico’s message about campaign finance reform and political accountability.
The ad highlights Talarico’s record of not accepting corporate PAC contributions and outlines proposals including capping campaign donations, limiting large contributions from wealthy donors, restricting stock trading by members of Congress, and adjusting tax policy.
Talarico is running in the Democratic primary for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Republican Sen. John Cornyn. He will face Rep. Jasmine Crockett in the primary on March 3, 2026. The winner will advance to the general election to face the Republican nominee, either Cornyn or Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.
The campaign said the ad demonstrates Talarico’s outreach to voters across Texas and will continue to run statewide following its Super Bowl debut as part of a broader advertising effort.
