Houston's favorite hometown holiday is almost here, and the city is already rolling out a full weekend of celebrations leading up to 713 Day. From free ice cream and immersive art to limited-edition burgers, brunches, live DJs and Houston-inspired cocktails, locals have plenty of reasons to show off their city pride.

Cool Off with Free Ice Cream in the Heights
Amy's Ice Creams is reminding Houstonians that it's still happily scooping in the Heights with a sweet community celebration on Saturday, July 11.

Partnering with Do713, Amy's will host its "713 on 7/11" event from 1 to 4 p.m. at its Heights location, where the first 200 guests will receive a free small ice cream.
Visitors can also try the limited-time Do713 Space City Crunch II, featuring Zilker Mint Chip ice cream topped with sea salt, mini brownie asteroids and whipped cream.
The family-friendly afternoon will also include music, giveaways and plenty of Houston spirit.

Step Inside Houston's Most Immersive 713 Celebration
For a one-of-a-kind Houston experience, Meow Wolf Houston is transforming Radio Tave into a citywide celebration from Friday through Sunday.

Guests can enjoy surprise pop-up experiences, scavenger hunts, exclusive 713 Day merchandise, live performers roaming throughout the exhibition and the return of Phenomenomaly, the interactive theatrical experience running daily from 2 to 7 p.m.
Foodies can also stop by Cowboix Hevvven, the venue's surreal dive bar, where limited-time Houston-inspired menu items include the Purple Drank, priced at $7.13 during the celebration weekend. Meow Wolf is also teaming up with Saint Arnold Brewing Company to serve special root beer floats available only for the event.

The celebration continues Monday evening with a special three-hour DJ showcase curated by Ice House Radio and Do713, highlighting Houston's diverse music scene through chopped-and-screwed classics, Southern hip-hop, cumbia, house and electronic music.

Running July 10-13, the "We Rep 713" Weekend features daily events celebrating everything that makes Houston unique.

- Friday: Brunch kickoff beginning at 11 a.m.
- Saturday: We Rep Houston Day Party with DJs and signature cocktails.
- Sunday: 713 Slab Sunday celebrating Houston's legendary custom car culture.
- Monday: Brunch, Houston-themed cocktails and frozen cocktails priced at $7.13 all day.

Beginning July 11, Trill Burgers is launching a limited-time collaboration celebrating the 10th anniversary of the hit anime series My Hero Academia.
