Mayor Turner Focuses On Third Ward for Complete Communities Initiative
Third Ward is one of five pilot program locations for the initiative. Acres Home, Gulfton, Second Ward and Near Northside are the others. Mayor Sylvester Turner, City of Houston departments, partnering agencies, and community representatives were at the Complete Communities meeting that has a goal to strengthen Houston’s under-resourced neighborhoods.
