TWEF Launches “Seniors Disaster Preparedness Workshop” for Houston Communities Impacted by Hurricane Harvey
Texas Women’s Empowerment Foundation’s (TWEF) has launched a Seniors Disaster Preparedness Workshop entitled “I Survived Harvey” to support Houstonians impacted by Hurricane Harvey. The workshop is being led by TWEF Ambassador Dr. Sherry Blake, a nationally renowned licensed clinical psychologist and advice columnist for Essence Magazine. The first Workshop will be held on June 12, 2018, in Kemah, Texas, reaching communities in need at schools, churches and community centers.
