Drs. Frank Talamantes and Gilbert Friedell, two elders of the health disparities/equities movement recently passed. Members of the Intercultural Cancer Council (ICC), they not only brought their perspectives to that of their populations in addressing health inequities, but blended their voices to "Speak With One Voice" regarding the need to address this issue as a unified body. The vision that addressing health alone will not solve the issue of health inequities.
