Kroger to Partner to Provide Groceries to Vulnerable Houstonians Affected by Burned Down Jim’s Grocery Store

Kroger has launched a partnership with City of Houston, the Houston Food Bank and Metro to deliver groceries directly to Houstonians in need.

Hundreds of local families in need, housebound seniors and Houstonians with disabilities will receive free groceries from Kroger this week as part of their effort to support the community affected by the recent loss of Jim’s Super Grocery Store to a fire in the South Union area of Houston.
