Former Central Park Five prosecutor can sue Netflix for defamation, judge rules
A federal judge ruled on Monday that Linda Fairstein — a former prosecutor who was part of the Manhattan District Attorney's Office when it tried the criminal case against the young men who became known as the "Central Park Five" — can sue Netflix, producer and director Ava DuVernay and writer Attica Locke, for her portrayal in the miniseries "When They See Us."
