In the heart of the Pacific, a Houston native is proudly serving her country while ensuring naval readiness aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Ralph Johnson (DDG 114). Gunner’s Mate 3rd Class Naomi Taylor, a dedicated sailor from Houston, Texas, was recently seen inspecting a torpedo on the ship’s flight deck during an ammunition onload while conducting routine operations in Sagami Bay on January 30, 2025.
