From the vibrant heart of Houston to the deep blue sea, Petty Officer 3rd Class Raymund Nelson is making his mark as a proud member of the elite U.S. Navy Submarine Force. A 2023 graduate of West Side High School, Nelson now serves as a missile technician aboard the USS Tennessee, stationed at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay in Georgia — homeport of the Navy’s East Coast ballistic- and guided-missile submarines.
